Because young puppies develop rapidly between 8 & 18 weeks of age (critical periods of development), their temperament must be formed carefully and good behaviour patterns established properly during this time. Otherwise you as a puppy owner are running the risk of creating a pup that could be nervous, out of control, destructive and a nuisance to everyone. In this course your individual needs and problems are dealt with and basic exercises are taught using positive reinforcement techniques. Furthermore you are taught correct procedures in conditioning & socialisation of young puppies and how to interact them, under control. Puppies and handlers are taken for supervised walks using the existing environment at the training venue to build confidence in different situations which in some cases may include different types of stairs, grates and surfaces.
